The past few days at SXSW has been packed with top-notch panels, geek-celebrity keynotes, bubble-era startup parties, and never-ending, non-stop, hyper networking. While I’ve been hopping around, it’s been great to see a strong showing by New York startups. Foursquare and AnyClip both hosted jam packed parties, which had one-hour queues to get in and featured a who’s-who of the NY tech scene inside. With more ad dollars starting to fly from Madison Avenue into the social media space, it’s no wonder that New York companies are so well positioned and in the limelight of this year’s conference.
